      I don’t use patterns and kinda just make things up as I go along. It’s really very easy though and I can explain how to do it. Just make a circle (chain four and connect with slip stitch, or use the magic loop method, whichever you prefer). Then crochet around and around, increasing at the beginning every few stitches to keep the circle flat and not concave. Once you crochet the circumference of your can/bottle/whatever the object is that you want, decrease every now and then so your work starts to turn inwards. Then just crochet (I use single crochet) around and around and you’ll have created a tube or a cylinder shape. If you want to add a handle, you can make another chain once you get to the top and create the handle. Hope that helps!
